Playschool Closed During Flood Cleanup and Repairs

Playschool suffered a substantial flood on Friday, February 18th from the snow melt and rain event. There was a full inch of water throughout the entire classroom, storage room, and office.

Since then, the water has been successfully pumped out and the space has been thoroughly dehumidified. Unfortunately, there is water damage. We will not be able to hold Playschool classes until the cleanup is complete and we have approval from Public Health to reopen.

The Health Inspector has provided a list of requirements that must be completed before children can return. All damaged items (including office carpet and furniture) must be removed. Other carpets will be cleaned and storage boxes replaced.

Unfortunately, we will not be ready to welcome our students back this
week (February 21st to 25th). The Health Inspector stated we may be able to reopen Monday, February 28th (if the planets align!)

Please know we are doing everything within our power to try to
speed this process along. Thank you for your continued support and patience.
